The greatest joy of Mế’s family is having twice welcomed General Secretary Tô Lâm — an immense encouragement to keep preserving Tày and Nùng culture and developing tourism on this revolutionary homeland.
The photograph of the country’s leader sitting on the stilt-house porch, chatting with Mế and the villagers, is the most treasured picture in the house.
